Mid-Week Message: Woman Vs. Woman

Posted on 5:30 AM by tripalh

women-arguing
It is no longer news that women are their own worst enemies. I remember writing an article on widowhood some years ago only for a male reader to send a message telling me that the barbaric practices I mentioned will stop once my fellow women want it stopped.
This reader is not the only one with this belief. I have heard guys say the same thing. I have also looked at men who are having issues with a woman only to discover that there is always a woman behind the man. Two brothers who knew nothing called division become enemies the very moment they get married.

A woman gets married into a home and is loved by her father/brothers-in-law who see her a a great and nice person, but she is hated by her mother/sister-in-laws. When she has issues with her husband, the women leave their own husband houses to come and fight her only for them to hate it when the same treatment is meted out on their sisters. Her life is made miserable by her sisters-in-law the very moment she loses her husband. She is called all sorts of names and accused of being the witch who killed him. They make sure everything is taken away from her. They are the ones who forcefully shave her hair with broken bottles.

As a single lady, she has “friends” but the very moment she announces her marriage to that handsome dude, battles start coming from every side. She was a very good girl when she always trekked to the bus-stop with them but now that God has blessed her with a good car, she is a high class prostitute.

She is married and they all cursed her as they bought her wedding asoebi. They were part of the bridal train but looking for a way to sleep with her man that same night.

Okay, they didn’t succeed in sleeping with him. They now wish her barrenness. They call every month to ask “what’s up” without the innocent soul knowing they are mocking her. She finally has a child but because she asked her “trusted friend” to help her out while she traveled for an official assignment, she is out of her home while her “friend” is now the madam of the house.

Oh woman, why this kind of spirit in you? Is this how you were made? She graduated with a first class while you came out with a pass and all of sudden the news is about town that she bought it with her body; thanks to you, her fellow woman. She just got a federal government appointment and people now believe she used her body because the person they always saw her with has cooked up lies against her; oh woman. You call them friends; they call you enemy.

Chief Mrs. Sarah Jubril, a great woman and mother, came out to challenge men in the primaries, she got no vote. Thanks to the evil hearts of her fellow women who felt she was trying to prove strong. We talk about the likes of Oby Ezekwesili running for the office of president. Do you think she can do that in this our nation where all women do is come up with wicked devices against another? Our men are having a field day all because they are taking advantage of the hatred women have for themselves.

Like we always say, the world will be a better place the very day women decide so.
