Hi lovelies, you will be thrilled to know that African Sweetheart man of the week is back!
This week we're speaking to Kayode an entrepreneurial young man, finding out a little about him and how he is positively working towards his future goals.
'Man of The Week is a celebration of the good African man. A man who works hard to be a provider and upholds strong values and principles.'
My name is Kayode Ajanaku and I'm from Lagos Nigeria. I'm a fashion designer based in London and I am also do into event promotion. Lastly I run a boutique in Lagos where I sell men's clothing.
I'll describe my myself an easy going person who love meeting new people and a good listener who's always ready to learn. A quality part of me is definitely the fashion and style part of me because I always put less effort to looking good and when I step out I get compliments from left and right.
Lol, so you don't make an effort to look good?
It's effortless.
I see..we're guessing that you will be consider getting married in the near future?
Definitely when the right woman come my way.
That's good to know. What qualities would 'the right woman' have?
A woman like my mum,I don't wanna go too much into that but I have the best mum in the world so am praying to God for a woman like that to become my better half.
What do you enjoying doing in your spare time and what are your passions?
I do a bit of research on fashion and style whenever am less busy also love shopping/window shopping cos I get so much motivations from that to develop my own clothing line
Sounds great. Are you working on a fashion line at the moment?
Yes I am,actually just started the brand but so far so good. The brand is called Kay Ebony. Kay is an abbreviation of Kayode and the Ebony there was an award I won when I was in school back in Naija and at the same time won the best dressed guy on campus that year, that's how people started calling me KAY EBONY and to God be the glory the name is now a Brand.
Thank God. That's really cool. We can't wait to see what the Kay Ebony brand will have in store.
You mentioned that you are a club promoter. People often think of club promoters as sometimes being irresponsible.. Is there much truth to that rumour?
Does your job role entail partying every weekend and all weekend?
Different jobs comes with different Negative side of it and the good and bad people,All I can say is, I only trust myself to be a very responsible guy.
Point of corrections. I'm a promoter I don't just go out to party all weekend, I only go out partying when am getting paid for it or going to support a colleague's event.
It was nice speaking to Man of the week Kayode. He is ambitious and confident in his abilities. We wish him all the best with his future plans.
