The Week's Message: You Shall Laugh Again

Posted on 10:58 AM by tripalh

I have been getting messages from women and men going through pain. I want you to know that our God, Jehovah Nissi, has His own special way of turning our mistakes into miracle. Has your mistake brought you to your land of desolation and pain? Don’t worry, He will turn it around. Your valley of Achor shall become a door of hope.

Never listen to what enemies and idle minds are telling you. He is a God of second chance. Your mistake shall become a stepping stone for your success. Trust Him, He has done it for several people and He is still that same Jehovah Elshaddai. Sometimes, we are too much in a hurry and so we end up making a lot of mistakes. But because our God is a loving Father whose love for you is everlasting, never conditional, He will allure you and take you into the wilderness.

Right there in the wilderness you will cry for water and food. You will experience the scorching of the sun. You will cry and there will be no one to hear your cry or console you. But you know what; Jehovah is right there with you. He is waiting for you to stop crying out and then He will speak tenderly to you. Yes, He is waiting for you, He is right beside you waiting for you to be calm so He can speak tenderly to you. He wants to whisper it to your ears alone how much He loves you. He wants it to sink deep into your spirit that He hasn’t and will never give up on you.

I have gone through abuse. I have been taken for granted. I have been lied against by people who have never set their eyes on me. I have been battered and left out there to die in the cold with no one around to give me shelter. I have been left to sleep outside under the tree for a night with no one asking after me. I have been locked in the room for three days with no water and no food. I have had my own share of media lies.

Happy woman
Then it was always like Monday shouldn’t come because I was on the front page of some soft sell magazines for five weeks, consecutively. Friends (they were never friends though) deserted me at a point when enemies were out to destroy me. At a point, I stopped stepping out of my little home because I couldn’t stand the shame. But God is an awesome God. He told me to keep calm and not to fight the sponsors (only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked). He turned it all for the positive. Today, my tormentors can’t even look at my face while talking to me. Recently when I met one of them, he was talking to me with his face bent towards the ground in shame.

When I brag about my God, many wont understand where I am coming from. But I know what He has taken me through, I know the fire He has brought me out of. I know, I know He is still able to do it for you.

Never allow the world to keep you down. Never allow the devil and his cohorts to break your bones. They can bend you, but never let them break you. You remain the apple of His ever loving eyes. His mercy, His grace will rewrite your life. It’s never about the beginning; it’s always about the end. You shall laugh again.

Father-Of-Three Aged FIFTY Is Asked To Prove He Is Over 18 While Buying Alcohol

Posted on 9:07 AM by tripalh

Father-of-three Charles Brown was asked for ID when he went into a supermarket to buy a bottle of whisky
A youthful-looking 50-year-old was left stunned when he was asked for ID as he tried to buy a bottle of whisky at a supermarket.
Father-of-three Charles Brown was asked to prove he was old enough to buy the alcohol by a female cashier at his local Morrison's store.
Mr Brown, whose oldest child is 30, thought she was joking but when he told her his age she still was not convinced.

Morrison's has a policy of challenging customers to prove they are over the age of 25 before they are allowed to buy alcohol

She called a manager who also insisted on seeing some ID after Mr Brown told her his age.
Morrison’s has a policy of challenging customers to prove they are over the age of 25 before they are allowed to buy alcohol.
After some convincing, forklift driver Mr Brown managed to walk out of the store with his bottle of Grant’s.

He said: 'I’m 50 and I can take it as a compliment but it has gone too far. I know I don’t look 50 but I don’t look 24.

'I’ve got a daughter at 30, a son at 28 and my youngest at 17.
'Fair enough I’m slim built, I’m tallish and the way I dress is quite casual, a younger person’s trend sort of thing, but that shouldn’t put me at the age of 24.'

Mr Brown, from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, said people normally guess he is 15 years younger than his real age.
He said: 'My dad didn’t look his age and my mum died relatively young and out of my six siblings I am the oldest, but I’ve been told I look the youngest.
'Once I went out and somebody asked my daughter if I was her boyfriend and she said "Don’t be silly - it’s my dad".

Mr Brown, whose oldest child is 30, thought the cashier was joking but when he told her his age she still was not convinced
'I’ve been on holiday with my wife and other people have thought I was my wife’s toyboy.'
A Morrison’s spokesman said: 'We are required by law to police the sale of alcohol and take our responsibility very seriously.
'As part of this, we have adopted Challenge 25, a policy of asking for identification from anyone who doesn’t look over the age of 25.
'We hope Mr Brown took the request as a compliment as he must look very young for his age.'
While it is legal in the UK for anyone over 18 to purchase alcohol many retailers follow the Challenge 25 protocol.
Challenge 25 encourages anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to carry acceptable ID when they want to buy alcohol.
Mr Brown has three children - Natasha, 30, Ethan, 28, and Evont’e, 17. He is married to midwife Tracey.

Daily Inspiration: Life Party

Posted on 4:50 PM by tripalh

Life is kind of like a party. You invite a lot of people, some leave early, some stay all night, some laugh with you, some laugh at you, and some show up really late. But in the end, after the fun, there are a few who stay to help you clean up the mess.

And most of the time, they aren’t even the ones who made the mess. These people are your true friends in life. They are the only ones who truly matter.
