A grand reception was held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, last Friday in honour of Miss Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter, winner of the Miss World Africa title and second runner-up at the 2013 Miss World pageant, held in Indonesia last month.
The event, which was marked with a blend of music, dance, wining and dining, was organised by Exclusive Events Ghana Limited, local representatives of the Miss World Organisation and organisers of the Miss Ghana beauty pageant, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mrs Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, officially welcomed Miss Shooter back home and also extended to her, the felicitations of the government and people of Ghana for flying high the flag of Ghana at the prestigious Miss World pageant, which is a festival of beauty, charity and fraternity.
