Happy Sunday! Whatever your situation take time out today to thank God. God is everything. He is the reason you are alive to see a new day, and to enter a new amazing month of blessings, peace and favour! May your deepest desire in Christ come to past in this month of September. Amen!
Deeply committed to his religion, Jayesh went to the local temple every morning to worship his gods and godesses. One day, he met Gospel for Asia pastor Nabhith as they were walking past one another through the village. It didn’t take long for Pastor Nabhith to share his love for Jesus with Jayesh.
As he listened to Pastor Nabhith talk about Christ, Jayesh assumed the man was forcing local people to convert to Christianity. Jayesh became deeply angered. He told Pastor Nabhith to move out of the village and stop converting people or he would present a case against him to the local law enforcement.
Pastor Nabhith calmly told Jayesh he wasn’t worried about a case being brought against him because he hadn’t done any of the things Jayesh was accusing him of.
After hearing Nabhith’s response, Jayesh decided he would not just report the pastor to the police—he would kill him.
To justify his murderous scheme, Jayesh was determined to catch Pastor Nabhith doing “evil things,” so he began to watch Nabhith very closely. Wherever the pastor went, Jayesh was close behind.
Instead of finding evidence against Nabhith, however, Jayesh found there was nothing forceful in the way the pastor shared his message with men and women. He saw Pastor Nabhith visiting the sick and desperate villagers out of a genuine love and concern for them rather than with a secret motive to gain power for himself or make the villagers convert to his faith.
Was it possible Jayesh had misjudged this servant of God?
When Pastor Nabhith was at his church one Friday night to pray with other believers, Jayesh sat outside the building listening to the way the group spoke to one another and to the Lord. He heard prayers full of compassion for sick people and genuine concern for the villagers’ various needs.
Jayesh wanted to join them inside the church, but he was nervous. He realized how desperately he needed God’s forgiveness, and he began to weep.
Pastor Nabhith heard the loud cries and went outside to find Jayesh, the man who had recently been so angry and bitter, crying out to God. The men went inside the church and prayed together.
Before the congregation, Jayesh shared that his plan all along had been to murder Pastor Nabhith. He repented and chose that day to follow Jesus.
“Now I know that there is no blame on him,” Jayesh later said about Pastor Nabhith. “He worships the real God.”
Jayesh and his entire family now joyfully worship God along with Pastor Nabhith, whose life is truly a reflection of the loving God they serve.
She switched off the lamp by the bed side and closed her eyes. She knew she wasn't going to sleep at all but she was going to try one more time. This was becoming the norm. But what was the point, in a few hours her door would be opened and she would lie in position and cry her way through a few minutes of the selfish, perverted and twisted act of man who calls her child. She didn't know if she had the right to insult him in such a manner, she felt like an accomplice. The door opening interrupted her thoughts. However, she didn't move. How could she, it could only be him, her dearest father who has a depraved way of expressing love? But he was early today which could mean one thing, warm milk. Her mother must have been drugged, again. She thought about killing him. She didn't care if she had to spend the rest of her horrible life in prison. But she knew she couldn't, somehow she didn't have it in her. She could only dream of seeing the blood slowly gather around his lifeless body. He turned her over and mounted her. He heaved slowly. She gave up struggling a long time ago. This was now her life. Her mother had neglected all her warnings. He is the best thing that ever happened to her. In my case, he is The Nightmare. She turned her head to find his face, she stared into his eyes probably deep into his soul. How could a father do this to his own child? It was the first time she ever looked him straight in the eye. Her eyes teared up. He stopped and slowly dismounted. The discomfort was obvious, the expression on his face said it all and besides, he hadn't finished what he came for. She remembered nights he would hold her down just to reach climax. He sat down beside her. She could see he had something to say but no words came out. She sat quietly watching him ponder. In the end, all he could mutter was goodnight. What?! She didn't even get a kiss on the forehead. It was one thing to be a slave in her own father's house but she knew he was worse off, a slave to a mere emotion, his own perverted lust.

You would've been mistaken for thinking that it was her wedding day as actress Chika Ike stepped out for the premiere of new movie "Murder at Prime Suite" which was held at the Genesis Cinema in Lagos, Nigeria.
The tall actress looks strikingly elegant wearing a one handed red laced gown with an exaggerated tail. She looked confident and as though she was enjoying being back in the lime light.
Kudos to her designer. The dress certainly looks pretty on her!
Nicole Scherzinger has dismissed ex Lewis Hamilton's efforts to rekindle their five-year relationship by stating 'it is over.' The pair have been breaking up and making up for far too long!
Lewis, who has been tweeting a series of emotional posts via Twitter in a bid to get back with the X Factor judge, including dedicating last month's Hungarian Grand Prix win to her, may now have to give up following Nicole's recent revelation.
Speaking on Lewis F1 win, the 35-year-old singer, who often traveled with the racing driver to events, told The Sun: 'It was very sweet of him.'
She added: 'The truth is we are no longer together. It is over.
'I know he's been very public about trying to get me back, but we're still not together.' One of Lewis' lovelorn tweets stated: If you've found that special someone, don't ever EVER let them go no matter what!! Nothing in this world is more important.'
Despite his best efforts to win her back, Nicole has no plans to start up their relationship again since they parted ways in June. Lewis admitted he hoped to marry Nicole, and that his mind was on her all the way through his recent F1 race. Before the split the relationship was reported to have been on the rocks for a few months, and hit a rough patch when Lewis was spotted partying with ten women in a London hotel at 5am.
It's good to see that Nicole is more determined to stay single this time whilst her ex works out what he really wants. How many times can you break up to makeup? Not only is it embarrass it surely must be taking an emotional toll on the singer. Source: Daily Mail

About six months ago, I was watching a lot of Apple ads on YouTube and heard something that has never left me. You should watch the YouTube video, it’s truly inspiring. Here’s what I heard: “Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in square holes, the ones who see things differently, they are not fond of rules and have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them but the only thing you can’t do, is ignore them because they change things. They push the human race forward and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius because the people, who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
The past week has ‘killed’ me. It has stripped me of whatever ‘self-importance’ I nursed in the corners of my mind. It has broken me and opened me up to my real self. It has brought me to a deeper level of self-awareness, one I am most grateful for. When I sat with my MacBook to type my last blog, I never imagined it would generate the kind of attention it did and continues to. I have one last thing to say on this issue before I lay it to rest and move on. (I also hope others can move on too, we have too much going on in this Country to continue to peddle one for longer than necessary.) A very big thank you to everyone that has felt it necessary to talk about this issue and spread it throughout Nigeria and the foreign scene. I read every email sent to me with awe that people would take the time out to reach a total stranger like me. Some were cursing, calling me a witch from the pit of hell sent to destroy the church as though one individual/church is bigger than the body of Christ. As though God is mere man and would cringe in heaven saying, “Ese don did it this time.” Or as if the good Book didn’t state clearly that ALL things work out for good for those that love God.
Do you love God? If yes, trust that it will ALL turn around for good. Some people say, ‘I support you, you are brave and courageous’ and I wonder if those terms really define me. I do not think I am brave or courageous. I do know, however that after decades of sleepwalking through life, I am now becoming aware not just of myself but also of my environment, my world, and the universe. Some say, put out the evidence and we will believe you. Hmmm, the morning I sat to write that post, I really didn’t expect anyone to believe me. Well, apart from those involved. And my motive was simple, let one more woman be spared. Let one more minister of the gospel be mindful and let the church rise up to its responsibilities as God’s legal representatives here in the earth realm.
A copy of the ‘evidence’ is with a respected minister of the gospel should the christian body decide to deal with this issue now and that becomes needful. I am not looking to have a ‘me against them’ case where I need to prove I’m right and someone is wrong. I am far from right, but I have used the only means available to me to free myself of the bondage I put myself in. Lastly, to all the media people seeking interviews and whatever else mailing me, I have nothing more to say on this issue. I cannot reply every email as reading them is beginning to seem like a new job. I remember asking a friend once while reading the book of Acts, “Why do we no longer operate in the power the disciples did in Jesus day?” What has changed? How do we ‘unchange’ it? God is not mocked, if we serve Him, let’s serve Him. We cannot continue to grow as a Nation by oppressing, delaying justice, hating, having the ME ME ME mentality. As Martin Luther King Jr said, ‘no one is free until we are all free.’
Things have got to change and it begins with us. It begins with each and every one of us borrowing courage to stand for what we believe in. Fela Durotoye once said, ‘that thing that annoys you most in society is a sign that you carry its solution.’ (I’m paraphrasing) Nothing has called out to me more than people, especially women, suffering in some way and hiding the pain. Whatever we cover doesn’t go away. It grows and it finds different outlets to rear its ugly head until we deal with it. I am not perfect, I will never be, but I am enough to try what I feel might work. I don’t know what the entire bible says but I am learning and applying the little I find out daily. And I think everyone owes it to himself or herself to figure it out for themselves.
At the end of the day, we agree that ‘men of God’ are firstly men, right? This means it’s needless expecting them to help you in your growth with God. I fell into that trap of thinking a ‘man of God’ is equated to God and it is not new to find people fall in that hole. How do you begin to learn to serve a God you have never seen? It takes another level of faith to do that but we live in a generation/Country where people don’t want to study for themselves. They don’t want to read the Scriptures. Well, they don’t want to read, period. They want to pursue things instead and have somebody do the praying and studying for them. If you fall in that category, you need to repent.
I learnt that when the veil was torn, we all were given equal access to the Father. No matter how long you may have been in church, if you don’t know what that means you better ask somebody. And seek a real relationship with the God you claim to serve. That is what I am spending most of my time doing these days. Praying, studying, seeking, knocking. The peace I have felt despite all the hate mails and tantrums shows that God is not angry with me and I did what I needed to do to the best of my understanding.
My apologies to everyone this has affected in one way or another. Firstly, my family: I don’t know how you guys aren’t sick of me yet ;) Secondly, ‘the body of Christ,’ my intention was never to cause trouble but to stop a rot I felt might spread and become worse if nobody spoke up about it.
Lastly, to those who said I shouldn’t blog again, I respect and understand your concerns but the truth is, writing is not just my gift, it is also my ‘curse’. I cannot ‘NOT’ write but I PROMISE, this is the last I will say on this issue except the christian body needs to see me. God is building His church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. No sin is too big to wreck anyone’s faith. If it does, then it means it’s working out a greater good for you. You will definitely come out stronger and better in the end. Like my best friend says “in the end, it will be all right and if it ain’t alright, it’s not the end.”
“…forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Paul. Cheers to the weekend people
Nollywood top actress Stephanie Okereke Linus has literally been glowing since tying the knot to her dream man Iahosa Linus. She decided to celebrate her love for him by throwing him a surprise birthday party.
The pair looked very casual as thy danced away with fellow celebrity friends including the likes of Uche Jumbo and Kate Henshaw.
So cute. Stephanie certainly looks over the moon whenever she is pictured with her husband.
Girls of nowadays will never cease to amaze us. The things you read!
A birthday party organised by a student of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Niyi Adelana, ended up in tragedy as his girlfriend bathed him with hot water over a minor disagreement.
The 19-year-old lady simply identified as Yetunde, a National Diploma 1 (NDI) student of Science Laboratory Technology, was said to have lost her temper when her boyfriend invited other ladies to the birthday party.
The ugly incident occurred last weekend at Miracle Hall, BHS area in Iree where Yetunde and Adelana reside as off-campus students.
It was gathered that Adelana, who celebrated his birthday last Saturday, invited some of his friends mostly ladies to his birthday party, a situation that did not go down well with Yetunde.
However, when the party ended, Adelana decided to pacify his lover but met a resistance as she out of anger, reportedly poured hot water on him.
The agonising scream from Adelana drew the attention of neighbours to the scene of the incident and he was quickly rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the town.
The matter was later reported to the Police who promptly arrested Yetunde alongside her father for interrogation.
Investigations conducted by The Guardian showed that Adelana received severe burns on his chest, neck and right hand.
According to a source, the victim had shunned Yetunde during the birthday party while attending to other guests but later in the evening, he decided to visit her but the visit turned sour as his lover poured hot water on him out of anger.
Sadly, when the news of Adelana’s ordeal broke, his ailing father was said to have slumped and died after hearing his son’s predicament.
When contacted for reaction, the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Tope Abiola said that the incident took place outside the school premises hence the management could not interfere.
He said: “It’s very unfortunate and we sympathise with the victim and his parents. It is a criminal act, the school does not have power over it because the incident happened outside the campus.”
If any lady is so insecure about her man then it is best for her mental help to dump him and remain single as she works on her self confidence. So sad.
As women, we carry so much hurt, pain, rejection and so many other things from our past that we begin to subconsciously charge every other woman that has hurt us in our future. We also charge our husbands, boyfriends and whoever else for the exes. But specifically today, I want to ask you a question.. are you HIDING what God called you to do?
God has birthed a huge ministry in so many of you women but because of your hurt, you’re afraid to open up, to try anything or to step out and do what He called you to do because you’re “private.” It’s ok to keep some things to yourself but I can guarantee that some of you ladies.. have some really encouraging, powerful stories that God LONGS to use! Some of you are so resourceful and are naturally skilled at things like interior design, fashion, cooking, organizing, business and so many other areas! WHAT DO YOU have in your hands? What gifts and talents has God placed in your heart to share with others but you’re keeping your tips, ideas, vision and whatever for yourself? So, it’s all about you and yours right?
Sis, it’s time to be free. Free to let God use ALL of who you are! Granted, you’re going to meet some not-so-good people out there but we live in a fallen world, so it will happen! You cannot let those FEW people discourage you from DOING all that GOD called YOU TO DO! Can you imagine if I never started Pinky Promise because I “didn’t want anybody to know my business or my past?” I am not concerned about my past but I'm focused on the FUTURE that God has planned for me! My past has been WASHED away! I have NO shame from what has happen to be because I believe that God uses whatever HAS happen for His glory now because I'm determined to live for Him. How do I know that?
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Psalm 85:2 You forgave the iniquity of your people; You, covered all their sin.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
So it’s clear, that IN CHRIST, we are NEW creations!! With NEW gifts, talents and so many things INSIDE of us!! I challenge you to WAKE up the SLEEPING woman inside of you! Do you KNOW how many women would benefit from your wisdom, ideas, talents and gifts?! If you could ONLY see your potential. You’re so private that you keep all of your gifts hidden and push everyone away because you think they’re out to get you. If you would just let your guard down and tap into who you are in Christ you would find that God placed a beautiful ministry on the inside of you.
Don’t you know that when you harden your heart against people, you ALSO harden your heart against CHRIST. Now, I’m not saying that you should just hang out with some of anybody that gossips, talks crazy and refuses to live for Christ. What I AM saying is you have to stop giving every new person you meet the side-eye as you hold your gifts and talents inside of you for “your eyes only.” EVERYBODY IS NOT OUT TO GET YOU. You have got to let go of that idea and be open to the doors that God opens in your life through friendships.
I don't want you to read this blog and then run and start a ministry. I want you to read this blog and then sit at the feet of Jesus and give Him your hurts and cares. The issue is-- we hear things like this and then we run out crippled from our past and then after the high wears off, we begin to slowly start charge new women for the old women that hurt us.. again. You need a true conversion from the inside out. You need to truly give this area to God & LEAVE it there. Then, be intentional in all of your relationships about allowing God to change you from the inside out.
So REMEMBER this when you meet new people.. grace them, pray for them, ask God to show you their hearts and REST. Stop looking into everything; assuming that whoever is going to hurt you. As far as your gifts and talents, start wherever you are-- use social media to share your FAVORITE tips & advice concerning your gifted areas! Start a blog on an area you're SUPER passionate about! You NEVER know how God could use what He places on your heart! Start a Youtube video on how to apply makeup and include how vital it is to be beautiful from the INSIDE out first with Christ! Start a cooking youtube channel and teach ladies HOW to cook!
How can we continue to ask God to "show us our purpose & ministry" if we refuse to even open up about where we came from and what God has done in our life? Why do you want to start your "ministry?" Why do you want a PLATFORM? So you can pat yourself on the back? Why do you want to be successful in whatever you do? Is God at the forefront of your mind? STOP seeking your "purpose" and start seeking Him. Then, take each day-- day by day. When you place God first... He will show you, "do this, then do that. Go here, then go there." Let's be clear, God places people on top of a platform that could CARE LESS. They care about pleasing Him and not people. If you're so tied up and worried about your past; you'll be controlled by people and not Him.
Transparency is priceless. It shows others that.. you know.. you aren't perfect but God will take your many imperfections and make you whole. It gives people hope that God can change the "worst" of them. It shows people that you don't have to be perfect in order to come to Christ. It shows people that God can turn your mess into a masterpiece. It shows people that God has not FORGOTTEN about those that seem forgotten.
Stop HIDING. It's time to come out sis. USE what God placed INSIDE of you!
